‘A brush stroke of genius’

Vintage, retro and modern sign writing

Vintage, Retro & Modern, all hand painted with the greatest care and attention to detail.

"It was back in the mid 1980s having just graduated from Maidstone Art College with an honours degree in fine art that I began working in Film, TV and Theatre as a scenic artist and designer.

The hours were long and the pay wasn’t good but it gave the opportunity to be creative with the brush. It so happened that a piece of theatre scenery required some sign writing, I had a go on, got the sign writers bug and haven’t stopped since."

Architectural graphics and super graphics

Wall signs and large exterior graphics and painted adverts have become a popular art form from another era. in the past few years there has been a revival and growing demand for supergraphics.

John Pope is known as the ‘go to’ person when it comes to large painted wall graphics.
